Dear Researchers,

The QuantERA III Consortium has launched its new call, the QuantERA 2025 Call, for international research projects in the field of quantum technologies. This call aims to enhance cross-border collaboration, support groundbreaking research, and accelerate advanced engineering studies in quantum technologies.

Scope of the Call

Project proposals are expected to address one of the following two topics:

• Quantum Phenomena and Resources
• Applied Quantum Science

Under both topics, funded projects should cover one or more of the following areas:

• Quantum communication
• Quantum simulation
• Quantum computing
• Quantum sensing and metrology
• General quantum science

Eligibility

• Project consortia must consist of at least three eligible partners from at least three different countries officially participating in the call.
• Detailed information on the call topics, rules, project requirements, and other expected features is available on the international call website.

Participation and Support from Türkiye

Within the scope of the QuantERA 2025 Call, Turkish researchers will be funded under the TÜBİTAK 1071 – Support Program for Enhancing the Capacity to Benefit from International Research Funds and Participation in International R&D Collaborations.

It is strongly recommended that applicants carefully review the national application rules before submission. Applications that do not comply with these rules may be returned without evaluation.

Consortium Building

To facilitate the creation of research consortia, a Partner Search Tool has been made available. This tool can be used both by projects seeking partners and by partners looking to join a project.

Webinar

To answer questions regarding the call, the QuantERA Coordinator and Call Secretariat will organize a webinar on 8 October 2025. Registration details will soon be available on the international call website.

Call Timeline

• Submission of international project proposals (by the coordinator on behalf of the consortium, via the application link provided on the quantera.eu website):
  5 December 2025, 17:00 (CET)
• Submission of the national pre-proposal to TÜBİTAK via PBS (by participating Turkish institutions/organizations):
  12 December 2025, 23:59 (Türkiye Time)
• Electronic signature of the national pre-proposal in PBS:
  16 December 2025, 23:59 (Türkiye Time)
