The EIT InfraBooster Program, led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and designed to support the commercialization of research infrastructures in collaboration with the private sector, is now fully open to participants from Turkey in all modules as of 2025.
In this context, participation from ITU researchers, technicians, TTO experts, and project managers is strongly encouraged.

The EIT InfraBooster Program, led by the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) and designed to support the commercialization of research infrastructures in collaboration with the private sector, is now fully open to participants from Turkey in all modules as of 2025.
In this context, participation from ITU researchers, technicians, TTO experts, and project managers is strongly encouraged.
What is EIT InfraBooster?
EIT InfraBooster is a free, EIT-labelled training and certification program that helps universities and public research centers unlock the value of their underutilized laboratories and infrastructure, engage with industry, and transform their capacity into economic and social impact. The program is delivered in English and conducted entirely online.
Program Structure
FOUNDATION Module
- Open to individual applicants,
- 8-hour online, asynchronous basic training,
- Applications are open throughout the year.
PRACTITIONER Module
- Suitable for university-based teams (researchers, technicians, TTO experts, project managers).
- Offers hands-on training focused on developing business models based on real research infrastructures.
- At least one team member must have completed the FOUNDATION module prior to application.
- 2025 Second Cohort Timeline:
- Start: May 26, 2025
- Application Deadline: June 22, 2025
- Training Period: September 4 – November 20, 2025
