Dear Researchers,

Organized by the Disaster Research Association, the “Horizon Europe Project Calls and Practical Workshops on Disaster Management” event will take place on Saturday, 16 August 2025, at Bilkent Cyberpark (Ankara).

The event will be held in person between 09:30 – 17:00 within the scope of Horizon Europe Cluster 3: Civil Security for Society, with a specific focus on disaster management. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required due to limited capacity.

Bringing together experts, researchers, and institutional representatives interested in EU-funded projects in the field of disaster management, the event will feature:

• In-depth information on Horizon Europe Cluster 3 calls,
• Success stories from various institutions and organizations in Türkiye,
• Application techniques for EU funding programs, examples of partnerships for beginners,
• Experiences from EU project evaluations.

In the afternoon session, hands-on group work on Cluster 3 calls will be conducted, enabling participants to gain direct experience both in acquiring knowledge and in the project development process.
