The Urban Mobility Disruptor Programme, focused on transforming urban mobility across Europe, aims to help researchers, academics, and early-stage innovators kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.
📌 The programme is funded by EIT Urban Mobility and is free of charge for all selected participants.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop their entrepreneurial skills through a structured three-stage journey:
- Gaining an entrepreneurial mindset
- Validating market fit
- Engaging and collaborating with industry stakeholders
🎁 What Does the Programme Offer?
- Opportunity to test the market potential of your technology
- One-on-one mentoring by industry experts
- Access to pilot projects and funding opportunities
- Final Pitch Event (November 2025, Lisbon): Present your solution to municipalities, private sector stakeholders, and investors
👥 Who Can Apply?
- Researchers and technology transfer professionals
- PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, and academics
- Teams working in urban mobility, engineering, sustainability, or smart cities
- Applications from EIT RIS countries (e.g., Turkey) are especially encouraged
🚀 You don’t need to have a startup – your research and entrepreneurial motivation are enough!
📆 Programme Timeline:
🔹 September 2025 – Bootcamp (Online): Intensive training on market analysis, communication, business modeling, and pitching skills
🔹 October–November 2025 – Market Journey (Online): The top 15 teams will receive one-on-one mentorship and test their ideas in real-life settings with sector collaboration
🔹 November–December 2025 – Final Event (Lisbon): Finalist teams will pitch their projects to investors and city representatives
