Dear Researchers,

The European Commission will organize an online Information Day on 11 December 2025 to provide insights into the European Research Area (ERA) calls under the WIDERA Work Programme 2026–2027.

During the event, comprehensive information will be shared on the new calls to be launched in line with the objective of “Reforming and Enhancing the European Research and Innovation System”

Covering a broad range of topics—including research careers, research management, knowledge valorisation, research assessment reform, open science, gender equality and inclusiveness, coordination of R&D funding programmes, science for policy, and citizen engagement—the ERA calls offer opportunities under both Coordination and Support Actions (CSA) and Research and Innovation Actions (RIA).

Led by experts from the European Commission and delivered in a live stream format, the event is open to universities, research institutions, funding agencies, research infrastructures, academies, scientific associations, NGOs, researcher organizations, technology start-ups, incubators, innovation centres, as well as national and regional authorities.
